Life oh life

Salam~

I got mood swing lately. Everything seems to be so wrong to me. Today after PathAnat class, I went back home quite early, around 10am, rest for a while, because after this gonna have lecture hygiene at 12. Sat for PathAnat paper this morning & it was $^%^&#. You bet it was a tough one..*menggoreng soklan smpai terbakar*,

Current mood: depressed. Ethiology: fail to answer my question properly. Mechanisms of action: sbb blaja tak focus smlm. Blaja last minit. YM skype & FB are the trigger mechanisms. Prognosis: get a bad mark. Anything else? Noo! I just speechless. I'm running out of words. HAHA~

I aint feeling good today. Unwell. I got running nose , a subfebrile rise in body temperature. And my roommate currently having a bad fever. Lucky her, no need to go to class as she was told by her teacher to have a rest at home. Sigh!

Sometimes, I'm wondering how can I stand being a med student?? Hectic life, busy studyng, momerizing bla bla bla.. 3 years passed already & I got another 3 more years to go. Let's just be patient & stop complaining about yourself. Dont compare youself with others. OK! *sabar2*

I may not be a good medical student, but I may insyaAllah be a good doc! So, everytime I feel down, tak de smgt, I'll call my family, recite Quran, hear songs, & read blogs. I recommend you guys ( for those yg amek medic) to read this 2 awesome blogs FNM & AZZAD. I just love to read those blogs especially the former one!.. huhuu..

Life is like a wheel.
Sometimes you are on top, and sometimes you are at bottom.
Sigh!
That's life~

no regrets!

The Road Not Taken- Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

p/s- 3 years ago
I had to choose whether to study in Russia or in Malaysia, and I chose "The Land of Soviet" - the road less taken some would say. Sometimes I wonder what my life would be if I had chosen a different path. Do I regret? No! I believe there must be a reason why God sent me here. But neither you, nor I, nor anyone else knowa the answer. And there should be no turning back!.heh!

surgery suit!

Salam

First impressions can only be made once. Looking professional is important for any health care provider. As a student, I'm not only wanting to make a good impression on the patients I see, but I have to let my attending knows that I understand "playing the part also means dressing the part".

As usual, every wednesday, during my surgery class, I've to bring along my surgery suit in case if there will be any operation to be seen. *it's hard for me to change to this surgery suit as it is uncomfortable, plus, I looks like 'makcikcleaner' when I wear it ,not really like it*. For me, I'd rather be 'ugly' than missing any chances to watch the sugical operation. =p

When I first saw physicians wearing their surgical suits around the hospital, I thought it was funny as their wearing those not-so-stylish-suits with different colour not according to department. Before this, I thought that green surgical suit is for surgeon, red is for cardiologist, blue for peadiatrician etc. As funny as it may look, it sets them apart from the rest of the crowd and reintroduces a sense of professionalism through the threads they wear.Whoa~

But honestly, I prefered wearing white coat because I look professional when wearing it.=)

p/s: I dont see the purpose of wearing it. Sterile?? Hellllooo, I've seen many nurses went out to stalovaya with the same 'pyjamas' their wearing in the Operation theatre. Sigh!

song for the insomniac

Fireflies

You would not believe your eyes,
If ten million fireflies,
Lit up the world
As I fell asleep.

'Cause they fill the open air,
And leave teardrops everywhere,
You think me rude,
But I would just stand and stare.

I'd like to make myself believe,
That planet Earth turns slowly,
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep,
'Cause everything is never as it seems...

'Cause I'd get a thousand hugs,
From ten thousand lightning bugs,
As they tried to teach me
How to dance.

A foxtrot above my head,
A sockhop beneath my bed,
A disco ball is just hanging by a thread. (Thread, thread)

I'd like to make myself believe,
That planet Earth turns slowly,
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep,
'Cause everything is never as it seems... (When I fall asleep)

Leave my door open just a crack. (Please take me away from here)
'Cause I feel like such an insomniac. (Please take me away from here)
Why do I tire of counting sheep? (Please take me away from here)
When I'm far too tired to fall asleep. (Please take me away from here)

To ten million fireflies,
I'm weird 'cause I hate good-byes,
I got misty eyes when they said "Farewell",

But I'll know where several are,
If my dreams get real bizarre,
Cuz I saved a few and I keep them in a jar.

I'd like to make myself believe,
That planet Earth turns slowly,
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep,
'Cause everything is never as it seems...

(When I fall asleep)

I'd like to make myself believe,
That planet Earth turns slowly,
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep,
'Cause everything is never as it seems...

(When I fall asleep)

I'd like to make myself believe,
That planet Earth turns slowly,
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep,
Because my dreams are bursting at the seams...

Pelajar perubatan tak perlu ke luar negara?

Salam & Hi everyone~

Actually, I've nothing much to babbling about meaninglessly, but hey! I'd read this article long time ago (a few months ago) & I've found it interesting though it might have a lil' controversial issue among medic student that studying aboard.
