What is Eid all about?

Salam.

At the time of Eid we look forward to celebrating with our family and friends. However, while we get busy with ourselves, we tend to forget those who are homeless and have no parents to celebrate with. Wouldn’t it be so sad to celebrate such a happy holiday like Eid without a family with you and not receiving any gifts?

This year, Alhamdulilah, I will be able to celebrate Hari Raya with my family in my kampung. This is the first time after three years studying abroad. I am so excited. Am eager to see my grandparent, pak cik and mak cik and also my cousins (They are all grown up. And maybe they don't even know me). Huhu.

Let's get back to the real world. Those who are homeless, no parent, and live between life and death. We as the Muslim should help other Muslims. A Muslim should think of himself as a mirror for his brother. Do our part by donating some amount of money, energy, and most important one is Doa. Let's pray for their safeness. Pray for Palestine! 1:30 shelling of vacant land near the Ebad Al Rahman mosque east of Khan Younis.

1:30, medical sources announced the martyrdom of a child and wounding 17 others, a series of raids.

1:40 IOF warplanes bombed the site a Qassam in Beit Lahiya, two missiles, and fire at the site.

1:48 another explosion caused by fire Qassam at the site in Beit Lahiya.

1:52: Ambulances and emergency medic announces injured in the bombing, which targeted a compound Zionist supporters.

1:55 IOF warplanes bombed site of Qadisiyah of the Palestinian resistance in Khan Younis ..

2:08 IOF warplanes bombed a tunnel in the al-Salam neighborhood in Rafah and injuries until the moment ..

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (Rady Allahu Anhu) narrates that the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "Let him who believes in Allah and the Last day, either speak good or keep silent, and let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day be generous to his neighbour, and let him who believes in Allah and the Last Day be generous to his guest (Bukhari and Muslim).

The more we help others, the better we will become as well because we mature through helping others. Islam shows how an ideal Muslim's character should be and we should act upon that so that we might save ourselves from Hell-fire and attain Paradise. I feel sharing with others is the true spirit of Eid! Wouldn’t you agree?
